Business or corporate coaching is meant for any individual in an organization who recognizes that in order to succeed in their current work environment, certain behavioral changes are required.

Executive coaching is specifically aimed at developing individuals at an executive level in an organization.

In this form of coaching, the coach supports the executive in achieving specific strategic business objectives by providing guidance based on the coach's understanding of behavioral science. The coach’s role is not to advise the executive on how to achieve success, but to ask questions through which the client him/herself finds the solution for their own objectives.

Relationship Coaching is a style of coaching which involves one of our coaches helping you to enhance your personal relationships with others, either in your personal or professional environment.

• PPA: The Personal Profile Analysis (PPA) provides rapid and deep insights into your behavioural preferences and communication style.

• TEIQue: The Trait Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire (TEIQue) provides information and guidance which can help you to become more aware of your emotional intelligence. It provides a basis for development and training activities. The TEIQue measures our understanding of ourselves and of other people, and our ability to use this knowledge to achieve our goals.


• BTI: The Basic Traits Inventory (BTI) is a South African-developed personality inventory that measures differences in personality traits. It is based on the Big Five factors of personality. It provides information about what makes the you unique in how you think, feel, and interact with others.

• GIA: The General Intelligence Assessments (GIA) provides information about your ability to quickly and accurately learn new information. During this timed assessment, five different abilities will be assessed (spatial, verbal, numerical, perceptual, reasoning).


• DAT: The Differential Aptitude Tests (DAT) measures the cognitive ability of individuals 18 years and younger. There are 9 different subtests measuring: vocabulary, verbal reasoning, non-verbal reasoning, calculations, reading comprehension, comparison, spatial visualisation, mechanical insight, memory.

• STRONG: The Strong Interest Inventory® instrument is a powerful tool that can help you make satisfying decisions about your career and education. Whether you are just starting out in your career, thinking about a change, or considering education options for career preparation, you can benefit from the wealth of information reflected in your Strong results.


• MCM: The MCM divides the world of work into 19 career categories. In completing the questionnaire, you will be asked to rate your interests (career preferences) and your confidence or ability to succeed in certain careers.

• Lense VQ: The Lense VQ has been designed to measure your worldview. Worldviews can best be described as the basic drivers or needs that inform our everyday existence. Worldviews influence what we deem to be important in our lives as well as how we set out to achieve our goals that are important to us. It relates to our values, our motivations and mostly by what we define our existence.

The guidance given to students between the ages of 13 and 18 years to make specific decisions (for example: choose specific subjects or courses) that will direct them towards a specific career. There are many different career options. Throughout this journey you will be equipped to understand which careers would best suit your personality, interests, preferred behavior and mental ability. This will contribute to a pro-active approach to get yourself ready for when you start your career path after the age of 18.

The guidance given to individuals (older than 18) to make career decisions based on their specific situation. These decisions might include post school study direction, starting a career, a change in career, re-entering the workforce or facing the reality of being retrenched. Throughout this journey you will acquire information about different career options and which careers will suit you best based on your personality, interests, behavioral style and mental ability

What is an Organisations “Culture”?

Your company’s culture refers to your company’s personality. It is the patterns of behaviours that determines how people act and work. Your culture consists of instinctive habits and emotional responses and can therefore not easily be renewed, eliminated or modified through a quick generalised approach. Each company’s culture is self-renewing and ever evolving and it is therefore important to enhance what your company’s culture is offering rather than creating something different.

Our process:

We focus on noticeable long term improvements rather than quick fixes. It takes time to change mindsets through changing instinctive habits. The following interventions will determine the current culture and suggest ways in which the culture can be enhanced:

• The Engage Survey report to provide a starting point of your company’s culture
• Informal Leader Questionnaire to be completed by all employees to determine the informal leaders in the business (the individuals that lead without the formal title of a leader)
• Workshops with the selected informal leaders (workshop to focus on the critical behaviours that will lead to the ideal unique culture including ways to spread the specific behaviours)
• Workshops with the rest of the business’ teams to share the critical behaviours and ways to implement new behaviours, eliminate the unwanted behaviours and enhance the current ideal behaviours.
• Regular check-ins with the formal and informal leaders
• Engage survey report after one year to determine change in behaviours (advised to complete the Engage survey once a year)

Output:

• A report showing the behavioural changes and alignment with your ideal company culture (combination of the pre- and post- Engage survey).

Future Ingenium offers an Engagement Tool that was developed by means of a scientific approach, grounded in years of research, and based on international best practices. About Future Ingeniums “Team Awareness” Intervention.

Future Ingenium “Team Awareness” Intervention will take your team on a journey of self-discovery and team awareness. Through the utilization of behavioural and emotional intelligence assessments, team members will be better equipped to understand their own styles / levels of emotional intelligence and those of their team members.

Our Process:

After completing assessments, individuals will be given personal feedback, ensuring that they are more aware of their own behavioural style, strengths and limitations, fears and motivators and their value to the team. They will become more aware of their levels of emotional intelligence and how better to respond to situations.

Following this, a team awareness workshops will be facilitated, which looks at the whole team. All team members results will be shared, allowing all participants to fully appreciate the contribution that each member has to make, toward the team goals and objectives.

This workshop will explore:

• Team culture
• Management styles
• Potential power plays
• Likely discord
• Team and individual strengths and weaknesses
• Communication styles and how to communicate effectively with different team members

What is a “high performing team”?

A high performing team can be defined as “a group of people with specific roles and complementary talents and skills, aligned with and committed to a common purpose, who consistently show high levels of collaboration and innovation, produce superior results, and extinguish radical or extreme opinions that could be damaging. The high-performance team is regarded as tight knit, focused on their goal, and one which has supportive processes that will enable any team member to surmount any barriers in achieving the team's goals”

Our Process:

Utilizing Patrick Lencioni’s model of the “Five Dysfunctions of a team”, Future Ingenium has created and offers a workshop aimed at Dysfunctional Teams which are required to work as a unit to produce a business result, as well as Performing Teams in order to fine tune and escalate them to the next level.

This workshop can be run over two days or over a period of four or five half days, dependant on the client’s requirements. This workshop/s is extremely interactive with self-assessments and interactive activities, keeping participants engaged and outputs relevant.

The Output:

Teams will be equipped to build relationships and establish trust more readily. Techniques to understand and engage in constructive conflict will be learned and delegates will have a far great respect as to how their team members prefer to deal with conflict and how to encourage constructive conflict in a trusting, safe environment. Team members will have clear understanding of each of the team members communication styles and preferences and will be better equipped to communicate effectively.

A team charter will be agreed, drawn up and commitment gained by the team. This charter will provide absolute clarity as to the teams ultimate purpose and goal, roles and responsibilities and the team member behaviours that are deemed appropriate and acceptable (or not).

What does “coaching leaders to coach their team” entail?

The days of “I say. You do” leadership to driving bottom line profitability, is quickly becoming a thing of the past. Research show that employees are looking for a work environment that includes workplace flexibility, a commitment to health and well-being and a sense of purpose in their work. As a result, the world of work is changing rapidly with flattening structures, remote working, hot desking and varied work hours, bringing about the need for a personalised and flexible management style.

“Coaching leadership” is a skill that facilitates the engagement of people, as well as drawing out, understanding and empathising with their individual motivations, talents, and challenges. Adopting a coaching leadership style allows leaders to get a closer to their team members and gain greater insight into their real challenges. In doing so, leaders will become better equipped to both understand and assist in resolving team and individual issues.

We take leaders through a completely online programme where they will learn the basics of using a coaching leadership style, while undergoing their own coaching journey with one of Future Ingenium’s coaches.

At the end of the course, as a manager, you will have a better understanding of the basic principles of coaching and practical experience of how coaching should be incorporated in your managerial toolkit to guide employees on a daily basis to optimize performance and improve the teams level of motivation.

What is a 360 degree feedback?

A 360 degree feedback is a developmental tool and a process that provides employees the opportunity to receive performance feedback from their manager, peers, reporting staff members, co-workers, and customers. It also requires the individual to assess themselves.

Our Process:

• A set of competencies relevant to the individual’s position will be agreed.
• A list of participants will be agreed, including the individuals:
  • Line manager
  • Colleagues
  • Direct reports
  • Customers (if required)
  • Associates
• All the above and the individual will be asked to rate the individual’s performance in terms of the agreed competencies.
• All the above and the individual will be asked to comment on the individual’s strengths and developmental requirements.

The Output:

A full report highlighting perceived strengths and developmental areas. Feedback will be given to the individual and their line manager by a trained consultant. A full developmental plan can be developed around areas requiring growth.
